Today is day 19 of my vegetarian diet experiment. So far I’ve been able to go meatless without any issue. I did, however, ate foods containing small amounts of meat occasionally, mostly because of the environment I was in. That was the exception though.
So far I’m feeling more energy during the day, both physically and mentally, and this is reflected at the gym where I’ve incremented the weights for three times already. I’m not sure if this is related to the diet shift, but I feel great so I see no reason to change.
I’m very happy with the experiment so far, even though I can’t wait for it to finish, so that I can take it a step furthe.
I did a huge mistake at the start of this experiment, which was not having anything to track. That means that it’s hard for me to call it a success other than overall feeling. I’m going to write more about this and other things in my next post, as I feel it’s a very important topic.
