I'm Giving Away 43 Personal Development Books For Free

Update: the competition is over. Congratulations to all the winners.

Important: Even if someone else has already shown interest for a book, you can still choose it. Indeed I’ll pick a random winner for every book at the end of the contest.

Guess what happens when you read 1 book per week? Well, you end up with a lot of books.

In the last two years I’ve read a lot of books, books that have quickly filled up space. Last week I was cleaning up my room, and I decided that perhaps I could give away some of them to my readers.

So today I’m giving away 43 books on personal development, productivity and business for free. The rules are simple:

  • Write the name of the book that you would like to receive in the comments. You can write up to two books but I’ll only ship one per person.
  • Share this post or blog on twitter (or facebook, your blog, a friend, whatever). This is optional but appreciated.
  • If more than one person wants a book, I’ll pick the winner randomly. I’ll still try to please as much people as possible tough.
  • Remember to use your real email address, that way I’ll be able to contact you if you win.
  • Bonus: subscribing to the RSS feed is sexy as you don’t want to miss all the good stuff that’s coming.
  • I don’t ask anything in return and I will ship worldwide for free.
  • You have time until midnight of April 11 2010 UTC+2 to make your submission.

Wow, this is really cool that you’d give away all them books. Its amazing what you can find on the internet with a little bit of attention. If I was to pick a book, I’d probably pick the dip. I live in the UK though, and I dont know if you’re shipping internationally, so if not, its cool.

Good job, either way. Its very cool to see someone giving back to “the community”. It may inspire me to do something simular with my massive book collection.

    Hi Oscar,

What can I say? this is a great (and very generous) idea. Congrats!

I have read most of the books on your list, but there is one that I have not read yet and I am very curious about it:

    - The Millionaire Next Door

My second choice is a book that I read long time ago, lend it to a friend and never got it back …. So getting it from you would be fantastic :)

    - The Art of the Start

    Keep up the great work!

    All the best!

As you say you gonna have a lucky dip for the book which has got more than 2 interested candidates, and if the same continues to the 2 books subscribed by the people, what if a candidate does NOT get any? :) He is NOT lucky altogether! is it? :P. Thats how it could be. Right? lol. My choices are as follows.

    1. The Memory Book
    2. Break-Through Rapid Reading

Thank you and wish you good luck for this endeavor :)

I usually give my books to charities, offering them online to interested readers is very generous from you!

OMG you have almost all the same books I have! I have Seth Godins’ books, Brain Rules, Tony Buzan, etc etc.
The ONLY one I DON’T have is Sharon Begley’s book Train your Mind Change your Brain. I’ve had it on my Wish List with Amazon for about two months. I’ve got so many books on the go I felt greedy wanting just one more. If someone else gets it I will just buy the darn thing LOL. If not….well either way this might be a nudge from the Universe, or whatever it is out there orchestrating things. But then If I read my book, The Spiritual Brain by Beauregard I might know the answer to that.
It’s still sitting on my shelf.

When will you be mailing out the books? I’ve written a blog post and credited your blog with the idea and decided to giveaway my copy of the 4 hour workweek by Tim Ferriss. I just moved so all my books are still in boxes so once I unearth all of them I will following your lead in giving them away.
