30 Days Habit Change - Waking up At 5 am

Alarm-clock

If there’s one thing I always hear about becoming successful is the importance of getting up early in the morning. And I know this to be true, because when I get up early, I can get much more done and I have much more energy during the day. Until now, I used to get up between 6 am and 7 am, depending on the days. Based on my experience until today, I’m more productive in the first hours of the day,

The Do Habit Update 1

Istock_000006416445xsmall

It has only passed 4 days since I started the do habit here on freestyle mind. However, given the amount of change and vibrations I’ve been experiencing during these days I decided to post a first update today. Before going any further, I want to point out that I’m currently working for a client three days per week (monday, wednesday, friday), so I had some time to concentrate on this habit.

Habit #5 - The Do Habit

Do-it
Today I’m starting the DO habit here on freestyle mind. Continuing my journey following the ZenToDone program, the Do habit is naturally placed between the plan habit and the simple trusted system habit.
In the previous months when I started to follow this program, I had no idea how I would do a do habit, because I thought that I was already doing something every time. But thanks to the experience

Habit #4 Planning Update

This is a short update to my planning habit I started two months ago. Today is the last day and I believe I’ve come up with a super simple yet powerful method. As I said earlier, in the last 30 days I tried to improve my existing system because I felt it was unproductive for me to have a big list of projects and tasks as a todo list. After trying both paper and software solutions, I decided to stick

Habit #4 Update + 1 Month extension

It has been one month since I started my planning habit. Today I feel like I have more planning abilities but I know I can do more, so I am extending this month to another 30 days to have the time to practice other things. I’m going to talk about these things later on this post, but first let me give you a solid update on what I’ve learnt. First, I managed to move all my projects and tasks to a new

Habit #4 - Planning

Today is the last day of my previous collect and process habit. I learned a lot of things during this previous month because I was able to collect and start a lot of new tasks that were inside my head. Continuing with my habit list, the next item I want to master is the planning habit. Planning is an essential skill to master once you have all your items collected and processed, so I think this is

Collect And Process Habit Update

One week ago I started a new habit called collect and process. While it is passed only one week, I think I’m already starting to see interesting results and valuable tips to share with you. First, I want to tell you that my initial plan of carrying a block note with me all the times failed miserably. Instead I’ve found that I only need my Ipod Touch and its free notes program to keep track of what

Habit #3 - Collect and Process

Becoming a Better Writer Update

This is an update to my [link]becoming a better writer[/link] challenge. So far I have been able to write everyday for at least thirty minutes. I’ve found that during certain days I can keep writing for as long as one hour without interruptions, while other days I have less inspiration and less ideas. I think that writing is made by two different factors, the first one is the act of writing down ideas
